This is part of a series I did where I "inverted" anti-religion Soviet propaganda. The original image was the cover for an atheist magazine in the Soviet Union. Obviously you can see, the tractor is depicted as though it is about to crush the priest. I thought this one was interesting because it almost already read as a pro-religion image. The priest, in his robe, with the way he is depicted, seems a positive contrast to the bulky inhuman goliath style machine before him - so there wasn't that much to be done here. I gave the priest a cross and now he's piercing the tire of the vehicle, rendering it useless, triumphing over it via the power of God.
