[USA ONLY FOR THIS ITEM. If you're in another country and really want one contact me, I can presumably do it, I'm just figuring out customs and stuff right now.]
I initially made this image for myself to contain all of the information someone would need to start using a rosary. After I did that, I decided it would be cool to put it out there and share with others so, I turned it into a full complete image.
I am not a theologian, so, I'd rather people not think of this as "the 100% official definitive authoritative guide", it's more like you rolled into a village in medieval times and there's an artist there who made one of these. I consulted with a lot of people but, it's inevitable that people will have other takes on things so, just wanted to put that out there.
Either way, I'm really amped about how this came out. This print is different than the others, I'm printing this from home with this super nice printer I got, so they're not commercially printed like the other prints. I'm able to print with super high quality ink (it almost looks like paint on top of the paper) onto thick watercolor paper, so at the risk of sounding pretentious, it's more of a 'fine art' style print. I sign and number the back of the paper itself, and I'm only going to make a certain amount (this is the second run so, we are starting at #45, might take it up to around 80 I guess. Normally I'd set a hard number but it's the rosary and the whole point of my operation is getting the theological visual vibe out there so, seems counter productive to set a hard limit).
This is only the second run of prints from the studio, I am still testing things out to make sure things work over here so, some of the frames could be little lighter, some could be a little darker... that's just how it is. I'm working on sourcing materials like that dependably so, they all look cool but therecould be a little slight variation in the frame or something, for example.
Also, each one comes with a rosary and I'll throw in one of the kingfisher stickers you see on the back here.
That's it! I've been working on this for a while so I'm excited to put it out there. In the pictures, I took the final ones today while it's really cloudy, so the last few pics are the paper with no glass that I took on a sunnier day so you can see what the colors look like in different lighting.
It's $60 plus 5 for shipping, I have to buy the frames and all the shipping supplies and the paper and ink is super expensive so, that's the story. In terms of shipping it's US only for now, if you're in another country and really want one drop me a line on twitter or email me, I'll probably send some international, we just have to pay more for shipping and customs and stuff.
